Anglophone East School District is now accepting applications for a permanent full-time Tradesworker I (Journeyperson/HVAC)

Description:  Graduation from high school, or GED, and considerable diversified experience at the journeyperson level in the applicable trade (HVAC). Experience in installation, maintenance, service, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems and HVAC controls. Ability to operate a computer and appropriate software programs is required. Must be able to demonstrate planning and organizational skills to complete scheduled and emergency work. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate details in verbal and written formats.

Other related responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications: Graduation from high school or GED and considerable diversified experience at the journeyperson level in the Electrician trade. Ability to operate a computer and appropriate software programs is required.  Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate details in verbal and written formats.

Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of diploma in HVAC. Certification or licenses required to work on natural gas fired HVAC equipment.

Experience or skills in also working with boilers, building management controls are an asset.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.  

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week.
