Reporting to the Supervisor, Field Services, the Electrician position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of intelligent surveillance systems, traffic management systems, and other technology located on bridges and associated properties. The responsibilities include installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic control systems.

This is a Full-time, Permanent, Union position, working 40 hours per week. Shift work, on-call response, overtime, or extended hours will be required based on operational demands. The hourly wage for this position is $39.06, which is set by the terms of the collective agreement. Hiring 1 position.

Working conditions:
• This role is classified as a *safety-sensitive position.
• Exposure to heavy to moderate noise is expected due to proximity to automotive traffic or working near moving equipment/vehicles on the bridge.
• Working conditions include variable temperatures and exposure to adverse or extreme weather conditions except thunder and lightning.
• Tasks may involve working at extreme heights (170 – 320 feet) above the bridge and in confined spaces below the bridge or within the bridge towers and responding to hazardous situations.
