Electrician (Residential HVAC)

Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, the Electrician is responsible for all electrical work pertaining to residential HVAC equipment installations. This includes but is not limited to breaker installation, electrical wiring, and conduit installation. This role involves working on a variety of projects in residential homes and requires a thorough understanding of electrical principles and systems. The Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues and contributing to the overall success of the installation and service team.

Responsibilities:

This position will include, but not be limited to the following:

Electrical Installation

• Install electrical conduits
• Complete electrical panel upgrades and pony panel installations
• Perform 220V wiring for air conditioning units, including terminations
• Install load management devices

Electrical Inspections & Compliance

• Perform electrical load calculations
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards

Customer Experience

• Deliver professional, respectful service in customers’ homes
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members
• Support a positive overall customer experience

Team & Project Support

• Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure efficient installations
• When electrical work is complete, assist with HVAC installations as needed to support team productivity and job completion
• Opportunity to gain exposure toward Gasfitter B apprenticeship hours

Safety

• Complete required safety documentation and inspections
• Maintain proper use of PPE at all times
• Conduct routine vehicle and equipment checks

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice or greater
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (3 years minimum experience)
• Bondable
• Personal hand tools, drill, and safety footwear

Assets:

• Experience in residential HVAC or service environments
• Interest in expanding into HVAC or gas fitting work

This role involves travel between residential job sites throughout the day. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a high standard for customer service.
