Experienced Residential Rough Framers (1–5 Years) – Ottawa (East to West End)

Location: Ottawa (East End to West End sites)
Position: Full-Time, Year-Round

The Work:
Busy residential framing crew with steady work across Ottawa is hiring experienced rough framers. We build houses—not excuses. If you can frame clean, move with purpose, and show up every day ready to work, you’ll fit in here.


Pay: $24–$34/hour (based on experience & production)

  • Lower end: solid 1-year experience, needs some guidance
  • Mid range: productive framer who can work independently
  • Top end: efficient, accurate, low supervision, crew asset

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Frame floors, walls, and roofs on residential builds
  • Read plans and perform layout
  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber consistently
  • Work solo or with a crew to hit targets
  • Safely operate air nailers and circular saws

Requirements (Read Carefully):

  • 1–5 years residential framing experience
  • Full-time availability
  • Reliable vehicle (jobs across Ottawa)
  • Fluent English (minimum)
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada (valid SIN + bank account)

You Must Have:

  • Full PPE: hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, hearing protection
  • Full hand tools: hammer, chalk line, speed square, nail puller, utility knife, pouch
  • Ability to read tape in imperial + metric
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs all day
  • Comfortable working at heights & outdoors
