About the Role:
Due to successful tendering we are looking for a REVIT Draftsperson to be part of our Drafting team based at our Bella Vista Office.
Reporting into the Drafting Manager and working alongside an experienced team of Project Engineers and Project Managers you will be involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and technical abilities for both D&C and fully designed projects.
What will I be doing:
Delivery of technical aspects of projects and interpret drawings and plans
Liaison with Project Managers and Engineers to have drawings completed and ready for construction
Apply appropriate standards and guidelines to the design
Preparation of detailed Workshop drawings including builders works, equipment scheduling, coordination overlays and as-installed revisions
Utilise and maintain accurate drawing schedules
Involvement with air distribution and duct sizing calculations, duct layouts, piping design, grille sizing
Review of design drawings and documentation (both internal and external) and provide feedback
About You:
Minimum 2 years mechanical services design and drafting experience of Australian HVAC systems
Excellent knowledge and proficiency with drafting software e.g. REVIT, AutoCAD, CADMEP, BIM and similar software
Broad knowledge of HVAC systems and applicable Australian Standards and Building Codes
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong customer service focus
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applications
