About the Role:
Working with Project Managers and a highly regarded Construction Manager, you will play an important role with the on-site delivery of large scale, high profile projects up to $20 million ensuring that the highest possible levels of quality and service are delivered with one of the East Coast’s leading Mechanical companies.
What will I be doing?
Manage on-site HVAC installations
Manage and forecast onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
Manage procurement, deliveries of equipment and materials
Review plans, designs and drawings
Attend site co-ordination meetings with Project Managers and Builders
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project delivery
Assist in the mentoring and coaching of junior team members and apprentices
Ensure on-site WHS practices are followed including Tool Box talks
About You
Previous experience as a HVAC Site Supervisor / Manager with a trade background in either Air Conditioning or Mechanical Plumbing
Extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to the HVAC industry
Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with and engage/influence key stakeholders
Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
Ability to adapt to unique and challenging environments
A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
