THE POSITION

Keyera is seeking Journeyperson dual ticket Electrician & Instrumentation to work out of our Kerrobert Terminal and along the pipeline to Empress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment, including flow computers, tank gauging systems, custody‑transfer metering, and associated systems.
  • Utilize electrical and instrumentation drawing sets and schematics; update as‑built documentation as required.
  • Support programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), with Rockwell PLC and Ignition HMI Hardware and Software
  • Maintain compliance with preventative maintenance work.
  • Report, Execute, and document maintenance tasks as defined by CMMS (Maximo).
  • Analyze, interpret, and apply information from SCADA systems, HMI displays, and P&ID drawings to ensure safe facility operations.
  • Support Emergency Response initiatives, including required training and participation in exercises and scenarios.
  • Provide operational support to ensure throughput and system reliability.
  • Assist other technical groups, including maintenance and operations, as needed.
  • Provide contractor oversight and performance monitoring.
  • Support pipeline operational and maintenance requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Dual trade Journey-person Electrician & Instrumentation (Red Seal) required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of industrial experience with exposure to medium voltage.
  • Understanding of Canadian Electrical Code requirements is an asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership with personal safety, protection of company assets, and public safety
  • Availability for participation in an on call rotation including evening and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of Software
  • Maximo CMMS proficiency is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
