True Mechanical is seeking an experienced Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber who enjoys both hands-on service troubleshooting and is capable on construction project work.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting hourly wage: $46.00/hr

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of plumbing experience
  • Red Seal Certification – Plumbing
  • Majority of experience in service plumbing with commercial construction experience being considered an asset
  • Full understanding of drawings and specifications for Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural disciplines
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with other trades and site teams
  • Proficient in take-off/site layout and material management
  • Understanding of sub-trade scope, scheduling, and interference management
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and supervise apprentices
  • Strong communication skills with colleagues, trades, sub-trades, clients, and tenants
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


Service Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates will also have experience in service and maintenance environments, including:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing system issues in commercial, institutional, and multi-residential buildings
  • Performing service repairs, maintenance, retrofits, and small project work
  • Working independently and responding to service calls professionally and efficiently
  • Strong customer service skills when interacting with clients, tenants, and property managers. Sales experience to be considered an asset
  • Identifying deficiencies and recommending practical repair solutions
  • Experience with hydronic systems, pumps, fixtures, valves, and mechanical equipment is considered an asset
  • Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and digital work order systems for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to prioritize urgent calls while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards
  • Comfortable working in both occupied buildings and active construction environments
  • Ability to prepare quotations for recommendations identified on site
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams
