THE POSITION:
A Parts Technician plays a vital role in keeping equipment
running smoothly by ensuring the right parts are always available. With a blend
of technical knowledge and excellent customer service you’ll assist both
customers and technicians, helping each of them find what they need.
- Manage
relationships with parts customers, providing seamless communication and
follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide
parts availability and pricing to our customers, offering multiple
solutions when available.
- Take
incoming phone calls from customers, completing their requests in a timely
manner.
- Provide
technical and sales support to parts customers.
- Follow-up
on outstanding quotes, working to close open orders.
- Communicate
effectively with internal stakeholders, including parts support teams.
- Manage
inventory, including Identifying and requesting parts that should be added
to location inventory to meet customer needs.
- Source
and purchase parts accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure
all warehousing standards and practices are maintained.
- Participate
in the training and mentoring of additional personnel when hired,
contributing to the growth and development of internal teams.
Skills required:
- Strong understanding of motor sports and power sports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient use of computer programs and technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service
focused environment, while multitasking and managing time effectively.
- Problem solving skills with a proactive
solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent negotiation/ conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Available to work a flexible shift; including the
possibility of on call and weekends.
- A client-first attitude with a commitment to
delivering exceptional service.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
