We are looking for an energetic, passionate, reliable Plumber Apprentice 3rd/4th year/ Journeyperson to join our RockyView Manufacturing Plant. 

Reporting to the Lead hand, Plumber Apprentice 3rd/4th year/ Journeyperson is responsible for various plumbing duties and also supports the installation of HVAC equipment in modular buildings/units from rough in to finishing. This is a union role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installation of plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing
  • Installation of water pipes, drainages and fixtures
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems
  • Troubleshooting and testing of all plumbing fixtures and systems in the modular units
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Certified Journeyperson plumber or actively registered 3rd/ 4th year apprentice plumber.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials
  • Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time 
  • Capacity to lift heavy equipment and materials when required
