Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Journeyperson Electrician to join our residential service team. Enjoy steady work, paid training, a well stocked company vehicle, and a supportive, team-first culture. Key Accountabilities:

•         Identify faults in home wiring, tripped breakers, and power failures using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
•         Safely fix or replace damaged switches, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and circuit breaker panels.
•         Conduct electrical safety walkthroughs for home sales, renovations, or insurance evaluations to identify fire hazards and outdated wiring.
•         Ensure all residential installations adhere to the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) or equivalent regional building regulations.
•         Inspecting and maintaining existing electrical systems.
•         Provide preliminary planning, sketches, and estimates for installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems.
•         Ensuring that electrical system in residential buildings comply with local electrical codes and safety standards.
•         Communication with the customer, supplier, and technical support, and other trade staff in order to successfully complete task.
•         Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
•         Employees are expected to supply their own tools required for daily job duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial electrical services.

·        Valid Provincial Journeyman Electrician certification.

·        Exceptional customer service skills, clear communication to explain repair options to homeowners, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Required Certifications and/or Documentation:

·        Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s Licence and Drive’s Abstract.

·        Criminal Record Check.

·        Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment.
