Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, people-first Site Supervisor to lead our residential renovation projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who excels at managing multiple sites, leading trades, and delivering high-quality projects—while treating clients, trades, and teammates with respect and care.
This position is more than site visits and schedules. At Pinnacle, Site Supervisors are trusted leaders who shape client experiences, mentor others, and uphold our standards of craftsmanship and integrity.
Remuneration will be commensurate with performance during a 90-day paid audition period, based on how well expectations outlined below are delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Site Leadership
- Plan, organize, and oversee residential renovation projects from start to finish
- Manage multiple active renovation sites each month
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and on-site staff to maintain schedules and budgets
- Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure project milestones are met
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce company and regulatory safety standards across all job sites
- Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments
- Train workers on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
Communication & Client Experience
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients
- Communicate progress updates, site issues, and timelines clearly and professionally
- Maintain strong, respectful relationships with homeowners, trades, and suppliers
- Attend internal meetings and contribute to team collaboration
Quality Control & Documentation
- Ensure all work meets Pinnacle’s quality standards and design specifications
- Identify and address deficiencies early to protect project integrity
- Complete daily site reports, documentation, and progress updates
- Use construction management software (Buildertrend) for scheduling and reporting
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, inspections, and report maintenance issues
Problem Solving
- Proactively address unexpected site challenges to minimize schedule or budget impact
- Troubleshoot construction challenges, trade conflicts, and sequencing issues in real time
- Make sound, timely decisions under pressure while keeping clients, trades, and management informed
- Develop practical solutions to unforeseen conditions, material delays, or design changes
- Escalate risks appropriately and recommend corrective actions to protect project outcomes
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Minimum 3 years of residential construction experience (required)
- Strong understanding of residential renovation processes and building regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Journeyman Carpenter certification (strong asset)
