Salary: |
$50.07 - $56.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications in accordance with the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional 2% in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation, and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay. Temporary faculty have the option to enroll in the College Pension Plan, with employer-matched contributions. The Christmas closure period is unpaid time off for temporary employees. |

The Steamfitter/Pipefitter Instructor position supports the instruction of the SkilledTrades BC program outline including all levels; foundation through apprenticeship, of the Steamfitter/Pipefitter Trade. The Pipe Trades Foundation program encompasses the learning outcomes for level 1 training in Plumber, Steamfitter/Pipefitter and Sprinklerfitter. Upon successful completion of the foundation program, students will have met the SkilledTrades BC requirements for Level 1 training in each of those trades. |
