We are looking for a MIG Welder to join our team on site in Paris, Ontario.

 

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm

Overtime available

 

This position is currently open and reflects a new position created to support organizational growth.

 

The salary range for this position is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Perform MIG production welding operations as part of a larger team
  • Weld thin-gauge materials (approximately 1/16" to 1/8") with a focus on precision and finish quality
  • Manufacture products including playground equipment and custom store fixtures
  • Measure, fit, and assemble components according to project drawings and build sequences
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to complete precision-based welding tasks (training provided; blueprint reading knowledge is an asset)
  • Inspect welds visually and physically to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform finishing work such as grinding, deburring, and preparing parts for final use
  • Support maintenance activities as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Follow all plant safety protocols and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Previous welding experience required
  • Proficient in MIG welding; experience with thin materials preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship and precision welding
  • Experience with finishing work (grinding, deburring, part finishing)
  • Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours per day
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
