Wages
Schedule
- Shift - 1st Shift coverage as per the CBA;
- Weekends and overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Removing and installing air quality systems
- Meeting compliance requirement documentation
- Testing for leaks using various testing tools
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical & electrical components of HVAC, chillers, water cooler equipment
- Reviewing historical repair records to create an effective inspection schedule
- Communicating with site personal
- Inspecting plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation while adhering to environmentally friendly guidelines
- Training junior teammates and attending workshops to learn about developments in HVAC systems
Qualifications
- 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic certification
- Red Seal endorsement an asset
- Gas fitter certification asset
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Excellent interpersonal skills to respond to clients complaints, questions and needs
- Ability to interpret technical data such as temperature and pressure
- Ability to operate and repair various HVAC equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
