Description

Addelec Power Services Pty Ltd is a high voltage electrical services provider with the knowledge and capability to exceed project needs from design conception through to commissioning. We are specialists in industrial high and low voltage electrical services and associated civil works, including installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and project management to both public & commercial sectors across Australia.

Addelec Power Services is a complete service provider who work collaboratively with the Client from the initial briefing through to completion of the project, optimising the value within your specific project scope, whilst mitigating risk.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. Reporting to the Project Manager and based out of our Campbelltown office, you will oversee the assembly, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations.  

About the role:

In this role, you will be performing a variety of tasks such as installation, maintenance and troubleshooting independently while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. 

  • Conducting testing and maintaining plant, tools, and electrical equipment.
  • Installing, monitoring, and maintaining electrical systems, identifying hazards, and implementing corrections.
  • Testing, calibrating, repairing, and adjusting electrical instruments.
  • Troubleshooting and inspecting complex electrical systems
  • Planning and executing primary system switching procedures safely.
  • Reading, interpreting, and updating schematics, panel schedules, and control drawings.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company protocols.
  • Communicating with customers, contractors, and suppliers to maintain performance and safety standards.
  • Reporting incidents, accidents, and property damage promptly.
  • Documenting maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades accurately.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment and supporting continuous safety and environmental improvements.
  • Traveling to sites to perform electrical maintenance, installation, and testing.


Skills And Experiences

About You:

  • A trade certificate or Tradesperson’s Rights Certificate in the electrical trade 
  •  A current NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate or NSW Individual Electrical Contractor (Q) Licence, or an equivalent licence from Queensland, Victoria, ACT, or another recognised jurisdiction under the NSW Mutual Recognition Act 
  • Experience with ABB VSDs, power factor correction systems, and EV chargers (advantageous but not essential) 
  • A valid driver’s licence 
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work autonomously 
  • Good computer literacy 
  • An energetic, driven, and self-motivated attitude with a proactive approach
