Electrician (309A/442A)
Location: Stoney Creek, ON
Shift: 12 hour Rotating Continental
(Successful Candidate must be available to work 8 hour day shift for the first 4-6 months)

Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a Certified Electrician to join our multi-skilled team.
What you will do:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, modifying and maintaining electrical systems on industrial machinery
- Performing preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Modify or enhance electrical attributes of production equipment as directed or approved.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Working closely with Millwrights, Operators, and Supervisors
- Following all safety and lock‑out/tag out procedures
What we are looking for:
Required:
- 309A/442A Ontario Certificate of Qualification
- Working at Heights Certification
- Valid Ontario driver’s license.
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment
- Working knowledge and understanding of applicable codes, legislation and regulations
- Ability to maintain documentation and navigate computer programs
Nice to have:
- Experience in steel
- Crane troubleshooting
